Sam's Kitchen: fine quality Mediterranean food
for wholesale

Sam's Kitchen has been creating Bay of Plenty's finest quality Mediterranean food specialities in Rotorua for over 10 years under the trade name "Kebab Diner".

And now, for the very first time, we are making these same top quality food products available to restaurants and select retail food outlets throughout New Zealand. This will enable the public to enjoy our specialities at their favorite local restaurant or purchase from a limited number of food retailers for their own home cooking and special occasion parties.

How "Sam's Kitchen" began

The story of the popular and delicious food created in SAM'S KITCHEN goes back many years. I grew up around food & master chefs in my parents' popular restaurants in Ankara, Turkey.

My parents were the perfect combination for opening their own bakery/deli/restaurant. My Eastern European mother grew with a love and passion for food, and my Turkish father was a lover of fine baking and cooking.

Growing up as a child in this environment gave me the opportunity to get to know and observe chefs from all over Turkey. It's no wonder that I developed a love and ability to create unique tasting Turkish dishes that has made my SAM'S KITCHEN* (T/A KEBAB DINER) brand so popular with both residents and tourists in Rotorua.

In addition to creating delicious food specialities, I have also been in business; designing and setting up Italian, Greek, Hungarian, Persian and Turkish restaurants and commercial kitchens in Turkey, Australia and New Zealand.

What makes my "Sam's Kitchen" food creations better than others?

  • uses only the best quality ingredients
  • time proven and perfected recipes
  • snap freezing superior taste and nutritional benefits

Why are my "Sam's Kitchen" products so healthy to eat?

All my products are preservative and gluten free. Just fresh natural ingredients and herbs & spices. MSG and taste additives are never even allowed in my kitchen!

Comments from our Happy Fans

I was so happy to discover Sam's falafels after eating at several other Turkish and Lebanese places in town. He's the only one in town who makes his very own falafels for his rolled sandwiches and platters. After having Sam's falafels the others seemed like spiced up dry sawdust! I fact, come to think of it, maybe they were.

I threw a small dinner party picnic and asked Sam to make up several platters of his marinated chicken rolls, sliced up like little sliced sushi rolls. All 8 guests were amazed how tasty the chicken was. I only wish I could have lied and claimed it all my own delicious creation, but I gave all the credit to Sam. He now has 8 new fans of his chicken dishes.

My kids are real picky eaters but at your place they eat everything on your mixed platters, especially your tasty falafels. Well, to be honest they don't eat the olives you serve on the side. But the amazing thing is they each asked to have their own bowl of soup after tasting the Lentil soup I was eating. Good going Sam. Thanks for being in Rotorua.

Sam, I come to Rotorua once a week on business so that's why I only order your Falafel rolls and your soup on Mondays. You'd see me a lot more often if I ever get transferred to Rotorua. Have you ever considered moving to Cambridge? You'd see me more often if you did.
